Looking Ahead

What I'd like to do over the coming months is to offer people the chance to review and make up their own minds about different products and programs out there that are designed to help us lose weight and improve our health and well being.

Because..you know what when you look fitter and healthier then you really notice a change in the way people relate to you.

A massively positive change.

Work, Love and Money all seem that much easier to handle and accumulate when you look healthier.

You also feel much more positive about yourself and I guess this is what is attracting people to you.

More about this in another post

I personally do think that there is any one product or solution with the exception perhaps of surgery! that can ensure permanent weight loss.

It has to be a combination of Mind, Exercise and Diet

Different products and approaches work for different people this is the reason I have decided to offer information and where possible reviews of as many different products as possible.

Allowing you to try the ones you think will work based on the level of loss required and the level of commitment you have.

I will of course offer my opinions and perhaps even award a star or rating system

Other ways to Manage your Weight

As a result of pretty much a constant battle to keep my weight in check I have researched and trialled many different products and diets that are supposed to be the Ultimate in Dieting.

Many if not most of these have proved to be total rubbish for want of a polite expression!

I am not keen on recommending much that doesn't provide value and as a result have only just decided after several months of use to recommend a product that I do believe can help people to bring their eating and weight problems under control.

Now before I even begin to talk about the product itself I must stress that this isn't a 'miracle cure/pill' but a Natural product that if used as I have used it can make the whole process of re-programming your mind and changing your diet/lifestyle that much easier.

Nothing works if you are going to continue to live your life the way you have been - that is a fact and unless you really are committed to changing then you might just as well give up now.

Sorry if that appears harsh but that is the reality.

Just What is Hypothyroidism?

I knew little about the condition and although the basics had been explained to me at the time of diagnosis I still really wasn't sure what it was and how it had affected me, why it had made me Fat and Depressed.

Since my diagnosis I have done my own research both into the condition and what it is and also how I can maintain my weight at an acceptable level both through eating foods that are beneficial to the condition and trying to maintain an effective and regular level of exercise.

All this combined with the tools I learned as a Life Coach and I think I have just about cracked it.

This report contains tips and secrets that although known go widely unused by most of us when we try to lose weight.

It also explains the condition 'Hypothyroidism' and provides tell tale signs that you might too be suffering with unexplained weight gain caused by this disease.

Hypothyroidism - Hypo what?

When the result of my blood tests came back I was called for an appointment at my local Doctors (not the guy that mis-diagnosed me!).

It appears that the thoughts that had crossed the Nurse Practitioners mind had been confirmed I was diagnosed with a Disease called 'Hypothyroidism'

At last a reason for my lack of energy, depression, lethargy and weight gain.

What though is Hypothyroidism.

Hypo what?

When the tests came through and I attended my next appointment again with this Nurse Practitioner she said that the tests confirmed what she had suspected.

I was suffering with Hypothyroidism.

Hypo what I was thinking, looking at my wife who was also clueless!

Hypothyroidism is the condition associated with having an Under Active Thyroid.

Finally an answer

The appointment arrived and as it was short notice I never actually managed to see the Doctor but instead saw a Nurse Practitioner (not what you want when you don't appear to be getting better, or so I thought).

After an examination and some questions, she informed my wife and I that she thought she knew what the problem was and was disgusted and suprised about the diagnosis made previously.

Blood test were ordered and I was booked in for yet another visit.

Perhaps now I would be on the path to a recovery?

Why I continually gain weight

As I said in my last post, I have had a weight problem for many years and for those years I had absolutely no idea why!

About six years ago I had an attack if you like.

I was working as the manager of a security company, this meant long and unsocial hours, it was 0530 and I had just finished opening up a clients premises and was headed home to get showered and ready for the day ahead.

For some unexplained reason I was unable to get back out of the house, I felt powerless and out of control of my own mind and body... god that was scary!

Realising that for whatever reason I could not go back to work I curled up on my bed and began to cry.. before summoning up the courage (I was frightened at this point) to call my wife at work and ask her to come home because there was something wrong with me and I didn't know what to do.

She arrived home and I now know that on seeing me she was equally as scared and frightened although she didn't let me see that.

The Doctor was called and after a brief examination he declared that I had suffered a mental breakdown and proceeded to prescribe me with anti depressants and sleeping tablets.

Several weeks later with no improvement my wife insisted that we make a return visit to the Doctor (easier said than done when I had become introverted and almost reclusive in my behavior)

A bit about me

My name is Pete Craig, I am 37 years old and for many years have suffered with uncontrolled weight gain for no apparent reason... more about that shortly.

Having discovered the problem through years of trial and error and by putting into practice many of the tools I have learned as a result of being a Life Coach I am now a confident and happy father, husband and boss.

The things I have learned I have put to paper as a Free Report that you can access through my website www.appliedcoaching.co.uk

Through this report and my "Weight Management and Mindset Coaching Program" I hope to help others achieve the same levels of success and happiness that I now and enjoy and that I believe everyone is entitled to enjoy permanently not just every now and then, don't you agree this is how it should be?
